Bowled Restaurant

Ever since its opening three years ago, Bowled has been bowling over the locals, creating a fan base that spans not only the neighborhood but also the entire city. This restaurant derives its name from a menu offering a sampler of entrees all served in large bowls. The eclectic selection boasts a little something for everyone, from orange-cashew-crusted fried shrimp to spicy red curry rice noodles topped with thin slices of flank steak and stir-fried vegetables.

Bella Brava

St Pete Clay

Stan Cowen, Russ Gastafson-Hilton and Charlie Parker founded the St. Petersburg Clay Company in 1996. Russ withdrew from the company in August of 2004 and Sean Manning joined as a partner. In founding the St. Petersburg Clay Company (SPCC) the owners had a vision of creating the premiere ceramic facility in the United States. In the beginning, this meant offering rental spaces, classes, and gallery sales.

In 2000, the St. Petersburg Clay Company, along with Highwater Clays, moved into the Historic Seaboard Coastline Freight Depot. This new relationship and
the larger space allowed SPCC to move toward accomplishing their goal of a premiere ceramic facility by providing retail clay supplies, studio space in which artists can work, and an expanded gallery sales area. St. Petersburg Clay Company expanded their services in 2009 when The Morean Arts Center for Clay moved their clay education program to the Train Station. With the clay education program the Train Station is now able to offer supplies, education, studio space, and gallery sales in one building. This seamless access to clay services is a unique experience offered in few locations in the country; thus allowing SPCC to further the original vision of creating the premiere ceramic facility in the United States.

On October 7, 2010, Adam Yungbluth and Matt Schiemann took over the ownership and management of the company. As former Artists-in-Residence, Adam and Matt were able to make a smooth transition into continuing the vision of the Clay Company. With new ownership and a fresh clay education program SPCC is hoping to continue improving its services and contribution to the arts community.

Sab Café

Sab Café is located in the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg. Sab Café serves a simple selection of Thai and Vietnamese Cuisine. We prepare the freshest dishes with the most authentic ingredients. We are open 7 days a week in the Plaza Towers Courtyard where we share a very quaint and unique event space which has hosted everything from live music to plant and seed swaps. Sab Café aims to suffice your Thai and Vietnamese food cravings with items on the menu such as PHO, Drunken Noodles and the all time favorite Pad Thai. Enjoy anyone of our dishes with one of our signature Sake Cocktails or the staff favorite, a cold Silky Nigori.

We are located just off Beach drive on 2nd Ave NE sharing an awesome courtyard with The Ale and The Witch, Talk of the town, Rollboto, El Metate and Wine Madonna.

Jim Tizzano Photography is a complete commercial photographic studio. A blend of creative vision, style, and passion are words often used to describe my work. I try to capture the emotion and feelings associated with life and vocation and attempt to convey those feelings to you through my photographs.

I use Photoshop only as a vehicle to review and sharpen my photos. I do not “create” illusions, alter the photos, add unreal images or change the look…that is graphic design and NOT photography.

I often go on assignment, covering many musicians, artists, festivals and bands. I am also experienced with Wedding, Real Estate, Product, CD, Fine Art, Conference and Workshop photography, although I do specialize in Live Music, Concert & Event Photography.
